SVG Lüneburg opened their semi-final series with a confident straight-sets win over SWD powervolleys Düren, taking early control.

In front of a lively home crowd, Lüneburg played with focus and intensity from the start. Head coach Stefan Hübner praised his team’s ability to set the tone early and stay composed throughout.
The hosts dominated the first set (25:18), with Axel Enlund and Jackson Howe leading the attack, while Santeri Välimaa controlled the play.
Düren responded in a tightly contested second set, pushing Lüneburg to the limit. However, key moments from Cole Young and Enlund helped the home side edge it 33:31.
With momentum secured, Lüneburg comfortably closed out the third set. Sho Takahashi impressed in reception and was named MVP, while Enlund finished as top scorer with 18 points.
Düren coach Christophe Achten pointed to missed chances in the second set as decisive.
