VfB Suhl LOTTO Thüringen won the first league championship in club history after beating Dresdner SC 3-0 to complete a clean sweep of the Bundesliga Women’s Volleyball final series.

Roared on by a packed home crowd at Wolfsgrube arena, Suhl claimed the match 25-20, 25-16, 25-22 and sealed the best-of-five series 3-0.
The victory completes a historic domestic double for Suhl, who also lifted the DVV Cup earlier this season.
Monika Brancuska led Suhl with 19 points, while the team remained unbeaten throughout the playoffs on their way to the title.
