“Playing against Poland’s Asseco Resovia RZESZOW and Slovenia’s ACH Volley LJUBLJANA, we are facing two top European teams. Both have been doing pretty successfully in their international campaigns on a regular basis, and Budvanska Rivijera BUDVA from Montenegro is a team we know quite well, as we met them already in the pool phase two years ago,” the 2008 Olympic champion Scott Touzinsky said.
“We had to give our best in these really close matches which we could win by 3:1 and 3:2. We will definitely have to watch out as Budvanska Rivijera qualified for last year’s Playoffs 12. But with our fans behind us we will follow our ambitions.”
For its first Pool C game, BERLIN Recycling Volleys entertains ACH Volley on November 6 at 19:30 local time at the Max Schmeling sports hall in Berlin.
