What are your expactations for the Champions league F4?
„My expectations for Champions League F4 are high! I am expecting some great volleyball matches and to play some of the best players in the world! We are training hard as a team and we are excited to compete with three of the best teams in the world! We are also looking forward to a great atmosphere here in Berlin with a sell out crowd!“
What do you think about your rival, Zenit Kazan?
„I believe Kazan is a great team. They are very strong at every position and have shown that throughout the competition. We will go into the match with nothing to lose and will have to play our very best to compete with them.“
Are you afraid of their players – Leon, Anderson, Mikhaylov…?
„These players are incredible. I know I like playing with Matt during the summers much more than being on the opposite side of the net from him. Their serving game is very strong and we will have to be prepared to play against some of the fastest serves and attacks in the world.“
Did you prepare some tactics for their strong spikes?
„I have to think to myself that I can’t always make it perfect. If the serve or spike is very strong, keeping it in the court is often good enough. If i try to make everything perfect it won’t work” explains Erik Shoji for WorldofVolley.
The final four of the CEV Champions league is scheduled for the upcoming weekend. BR Volleys and Zenit will meet each other at 17:00 (C.E.T), while two Polish teams will play at 20:00 (C.E.T.)
