Allianz MTV Stuttgart want to make next season in German Championship more interesting and dethrone Dresdner SC.

The budget of Bundesliga and German Cup runners-up is increased to 900.000 euros for 2016/2017 and they have been active on summer transfer market for a while.

The latest newcomer in Stuttgart is Wanna Buakaew, the member of Thai National Team. The 35-year-old libero came from Azerbaijani club Azerrail Baku with whom she took national title.

Previously, Stuttgart hired five players: receiver/outside hitter Julia Schäfer (USC Münster), middle blockers Jennifer Pettke (VC Wiesbaden) and American Nia Grant (Nantes Volley Féminin/FRA), another American – the opposite hitter Aiyana Whitney (Penn State University) and Slovenian setter Karmen Kočar (NawaRo Straubing).
