In the second match of the quarterfinal, SC Schweriner outplayed Munster with 3-0 (25-15, 29-27, 25-17) and qualified to the semis of this year’s competition.
This time Schweriner finished the match in 77 minutes and Louisa Lippmann was the main scorer with 24 points followed by Greta Szakmary who scored 15 points.On the other side, Lina Alsmeir scored 11 points.
In the duel between SC Potsdam – Dresdner SC, the series extended for one more match after Dresdner defeated their hosts with 3-1 (25-19, 26-24, 20-25, 25-15) and equalized on 1-1 in series. The third match is scheduled for March 28.
Dresdner won thanks to a good block of Saša Planinšec (6) who in total scored 15 points and the Finnish bomber Piia Korhonen who finished the match with 20 points. Serbian blocker Ivana Mrdak ended a match with 17 points. Serbian opposite Marta Drpa was the top scorer of the match with 27 points but that wasn’t enough for the win.
