The first title of the season in Greek volleyball went to Panathinaikos. The Athens club took home the 2023 Men’s Super Cup (2023 Σούπερ Καπ) by beating P.A.O.K. 3-1 (25-20, 32-34, 25-19, 25-22) in Heraklion, on the island of Crete. It was the fourth victory for Panathinaikos in as many seasonal matches between the two teams and the second Super Cup in history. The “Greens” hadn’t won the title in the competition since 2007.

MVP and top scorer of the game was the Cuban opposite of Panathinaikos, Fernando Hernández, author of 28 points (including five aces). Belgian Bram van den Dries scored 21 for P.A.O.K.
