AO Thiras bounced back from last week’s defeat to Olympiacos with a 3-0 victory over AEK, solidifying their position in 3rd place. AEK’s three-match winning streak ended in Santorini.
Thiras dominated at the net (15-5 blocks) and limited AEK to just one ace. Despite late resistance from AEK in all three sets, Thiras maintained control, winning 25-23, 25-18, 25-20 in 84 minutes. Key performances included Mihaljevic (11 points) and Mosser (11 points), while Edwards led AEK with 14 points.
Thetida Shocks PAOK in Five-Set Comeback
