Olympiacos crowned 9th championship title after a thrilling 3-2 victory against PAOK, coming back from behind and showing true champion spirit at the critical moments.

PAOK fought fiercely, delivering one of their best performances of the season. Still, Olympiacos found solutions when it mattered the most, sealing their dominance once again.

Lorenzo Micelli (Head Coach):
“First of all, we entered the match under a lot of pressure from the start. We wanted it badly, and we knew it. We fought point by point and started each set really strong. We played excellently. The team showed once again, especially in the tie-break, that in the most critical moments of the final, they can fight and win. My players showed real growth and a winning spirit. This season, we won three titles, and this championship is the crowning moment, the proof that we were the best. Honestly, we don’t know our limits — especially in such an incredible atmosphere. Our fans were unbelievable. Today, I don’t have many words — this was exactly what we needed. Our fans are among the best in Europe, and they truly deserve congratulations for helping us achieve this major victory.”

Georgia Lamproúsi (Captain):
“It’s been a magical year, achieving all three of our goals. It’s even more special because it coincides with Olympiacos’ 100th anniversary, giving us extra motivation. We contributed our part with the Women’s Volleyball team, winning all three titles. Together with our fans, it was the perfect way to end the season. On the last point, I didn’t think — I just took a risk. And when you risk it, most of the time you win! A huge thank you to the Olympiacos fans for their incredible support. Even though it wasn’t our best day performance-wise, with their help, we managed to pull through and win.”

Melína Emmanouilídou:
“We’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. We fought all year long. This has been an amazing season. I truly believe we deserved it — both for Olympiacos and for all the girls who made it happen! Moving forward, it’s important that we keep this momentum. Honestly, today it wasn’t just about the last point — every moment of the match mattered. Huge thanks to our fans. We need them, we want them close to us, and we hope the arena is always this full.”

Milica Kubura:
“Every time we play a final, we seem to turn it into a thriller! I’m incredibly happy we did it. We knew the match would be tough — PAOK is a very good team, and they were never going to make it easy for us. But we showed great character, and the whole team deserves congratulations. Every player made a big difference today. I’m really proud and happy that we won the treble.”

Paula Yamila Nizetich:
“I’m so happy about winning the championship. We wanted it so much. Congratulations to the entire team — they were amazing. We fought together as a team! Our fans were fantastic and helped us so much to get this victory.”
