PAOK – Panathinaikos
PAOK wil be the host of the second game as well (Thursday) in the series played until someone collect three victories.
Fourth-seeded Panathinaikos started the tie-break perfectly, easily gaining 1-4 lead thanks to mistakes from the players of first-placed PAOK and amazing defenses of own players.
However, the home team managed to reverse the situation and to get ahead in the score (10-9) mostly thanks to good serves from Rangel.
The last points of the tie-break was something out of a horror movie, as sport24.gr transferred.
Panathinaikos arrived to the match ball with blocking. Than, PAOK responded with attacks by Gómez, but in the end the guests smiled after Cook took two consecutive points and made it 2-3 in sets and 1-0 in semi-final series.
