Do you remember that thrilling League Cup Finals from this season in which Olympiacos managed to return from 0-2 in sets against PAOK and then from 10:14 in the tie-break? Well, the Reds have done it again against the same rival! Only this time it was in the semi-finals of the Greek National Cup!
PAOK have had the lead of 2-0 in sets, while they also had 3 match-points in the third set – 24:21! However, Olympiacos scored 5 points in a row and clinched that set by 26:24!!! That has changed everything in this match. The squad from Piraeus started dominating the game, they easily seized the fourth set by 25:18 and then they won the tie-break by 15:8!
Olympiacos will play in the big finals against Kifisias, which prevailed over Panathinaikos after one more volleyball marathon.
