PGE Skra Belchatow head coach Miguel Falasca admitted that Zenit Kazan are simply too good for his team at the moment.

The Polish powerhouse suffered a straight sets defeat in the 2nd leg of the CEV Champions League Playoffs 6 round and failed to reach the Final Four.

“Zenit Kazan were just too good and their level of volleyball was too high for us. They were serving very well, so we had problems to organize our attacking plays. Only Facundo Conte was able to finish some actions, but one Conte was not enough to beat a team such as Zenit Kazan. Do not get me wrong, Nico Marechal, Mariusz Wlazly and Marcel Gromadowski all played well and fought very hard, but they simply had problems in attack. On the other side, Zenit Kazan used all of our weaknesses. I think that they are currently the best team in Europe and they are definitely the top favorite at the Final Four,” said Skra head coach Miguel Falaca
