Asseco Resovia Rzeszów has named Italian coach Massimo Botti as their new head coach on a two-year deal.
Botti, 52, brings a strong resume with recent successes in both Italy and Poland. After a playing career in Italian clubs, he transitioned into coaching, leading Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza to an Italian Cup win and a Serie A1 bronze medal. Most recently, he coached Bogdanka LUK Lublin to a CEV Challenge Cup victory and the Polish Championship title in 2025.
“We believe Massimo’s experience and leadership will strengthen our team,” said Piotr Maciąg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Assistant coaches Alfredo Martilotti and Alek Achrem will remain on staff.
