Olympiacos
History has been written! Olympiacos Piraeus will play in their first ever European finals after they came out as the winners in the clash against Yenisey Krasnoyarsk!
In the 1st leg of the 2016/17 CEV Challenge Cup Semi-Finals, Olympiacos defeated Yenisei Krasnoyarsk at home by 3-1, while the 2nd leg in Russia was even more exciting. Yenisei managed to win the match by 3-0, so the golden set was about to decide which side will progress to the finals.
It was all tied at 13:13 in the decisive set, before Olympiacos scored two points in a row and clinched the ticket for the finals. Watch the big celebration of the Greek team:
In the 2nd semifinals Bursa and SC Schweriner will play their match at 16:00.
