Team captain Dimitris Rizopoulos adds: “It is a European game and we want to display a good performance. The CEV Cup is a great challenge for us and we want to make it to the next round. It is also very important that we return to Alexandreio, our historic venue. Last year we played a key match of the national and its result eventually got us the right to participate in the European Cups”. Aris recently lost to Ethnikos ALEXANDROPOULIS in the national league but Rizopoulos says: “This defeat belongs to the past. We are only interested in this game with our Belgian opponents. We lost that game mainly because of our own mistakes but we learn from this experience and we won’t do the same in the future”.
