GRE M: Oivanen – Aleksiev duo push Olympiacos over PAOK in Game 1 heart-pounder

Olympiacos S.F.P. defeated P.A.O.K. in the tie-break to take a 1-0 lead in the 2017/18 Greek men’s volleyball championship Volleyleague Pame Stoixima playoff finals.

The top-seed Olympiacos victoriously opened the best-of-five 2017/18 Volleyleague playoff finals against No.2 PAOK – 3-2 (25-15, 17-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-6).

The Finnish Mikko Oivanen and Bulgarian Todor Aleksiev were the best scorers of Olympiacos with 18 and 16 points, respectively. The German Marcus Böhme added 5 kill blocks. In PAOK, the Bulgarian Nikolay Uchikov delivered 23 points. Ioannis Takouridis contributed with 4 kill blocks.
