EUROVOLLEY U19 W: Italian girls conquer Europe after making an incredible comeback!

Italy have taken the crown after playing an amazing five-set game versus Russia 3-2 (24-26, 18-25, 26-24, 25-22, 15-9).

The final match of #EuroVolleyU19W gave to the spectators in ‘Feti Borova’ sports hall in Tirana the opportunity to see many interesting rallies, creating themselves an amazing atmosphere.

Both teams showed fighting spirit, but eventually, the Azzurrine took the important win.

The Italian girls were down by two sets and somehow managed to make a stunning come back to win the gold!

Valeria Battista was the top scorer with 22 points, while her teammate Loveth Oghosasere Omoruyi added 20. In Russia, Tatiana Kadochkina had 15 points.

The team of Poland, who in the previous edition of #EuroVolleyU19W in 2016 did not qualify for the Final Round of the competition, grabbed the bronze medals from the 2018 CEV U19 Volleyball European Championship –Women after a real Volleyball battle vs. Turkey.
