“It was a very tough match. The guys were really good to get back into the race after the empty laps in the third and fourth set and then to play at a high level to win this trophy. Most of all, thanks to the players, because with only one timeout, we, coaches have a little impact. We have strong players and this is important because the technique can be improved, but the mental side has been a great test. They have earned two days of rest,” says Julio Velasco, coach of Modena.
“The final has been great and the compliments go to both teams. We were down by two sets but we found ourselves in the third and fourth set, but we fell in the fifth set. We have to work a lot to improve,” says Angelo Lorenzetti, coach of Trentino.
Recall that Modena defeated Trentino to win the Super Cup trophy!
