It was supposed to be the most equal matchup in the 2018/19 SuperLega Credem Banca playoff quarterfinals knowing the seeds of the two teams, but No.4 Modena cruised to an easy victory over No.5 Milano: 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 27-25).

Milano were unrecognizable today which was mostly due to the fact that two most important levers of the team, Dutchman Nimir Abdel-Aziz and Slovenian Klemen Čebulj underperformed in the attack, 40% and 33%, respectively. Both finished the match on single digits, failing to score a single point in the second set.

In Modena, Ivan Zaytsev had a great display with 16 points including four blocks. Frenchman Trévor Clévenot scored 11 points for Milano.
