Italian men’s volleyball club Allianz Milano made transfer market hit. The SuperLega side formalized the arrival of Japanese superstar Yuki Ishikawa, who’ll wear its jersey in the 2020/21 season.

The Asian star Ishikawa will spend his sixth year in Italian SuperLega. After having played in Leo Shoes Modena in 2014/15, Top Volley Cisterna from 2016 to 2018, Emma Villas Aubay Siena in 2018/19, and Kioene Padova last season, the 24-year-old Japan National Team outside hitter joined Allianz Milano.

One of the faces that officially promote the Tokyo Olympics to be held next year is the youngest player to have worn the jersey of the Japan senior national team (in 2014, at 18 years old). But, above all, he led his teammates to the gold medal in the 2017 Asian Championship, obtaining the title of MVP of the tournament. In 2015, Ishikawa received the award for the best outside spiker in the World Cup.
