Kay Van Dijk, the experienced opposite, has joined this team for the season 2020/2021.
“When New Mater Castellana Grotte contacted me, I talked to the director De Mori and Pippo Vedovotto, with whom I played in Siena,” – commented Van Dijk who will arrive in Italy in the first days of next week – “Both made me feel the comfortable immediately. Signing for an important team, with great goals is the best choice for me. Together we can do great things and achieve important goals. And that’s exactly why I signed for Castellana.”
“We are very happy that Van Dijk has accepted our proposal” – sais sports director De Mori – “We are sure we have acquired a very quality player: Kay guarantees us experience, physicality and is highly motivated. His arrival gives us further stimulation for the start of this season which will be very special, fascinating and at the same time difficult.”
Firstly, Bandero was an option for Castellana Grotte, however, he decided to choose Korea instead of this team.
In the last season, Kay Van Dijk was a member of PAOK Volley.
