Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio didn’t betray the expectations and achieved the first important victory of the season.

A team that finished second in the Serie A charts last season prevailed over Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri at home by a 3-1 (25-22, 25-27, 25-20, 25-17) in the second qualifying round of the 2020 Supercoppa Italiana. Camilla Mingardi led Busto’s scorers with 18 points. Thus, the “Butterflies” are about to fly to Vicenza where the Final Four will be held. There, they will face Igor Gorgonzola Novara. The reigning club world champions narrowly avoided upset from Il Bisonte Firenze.

One more match is scheduled for tomorrow and it will determine the last Final Four participants from qualifications. Imoco Volley Conegliano have a direct ticket to the Vicenza tournament as the last Cup winners.
