Although he left Warszawa at the end of the previous season and signed a contract with Ukraine’s VK Barkom-Kazhany, the opposite hitter Król returned to the team from the Polish capital.
After the injury of a newcomer from Cuprum Lubin, Jakub Ziobrowski, Warszawa decided to contract a new opposite and their choice fell on Król, who has been training with the club from the very beginning of the preparations. Actually, this was a twist of fate as a 31-year-old player should have been in Barkom a month ago but visa problems stopped him from going to Ukraine.
Warszawa will count on Ziobrowski next season after he heals the injury and he’ll compete with Król for a place in the lineup.
