Turkish volleyball giants Halkbank Ankara SK announced arrival of Brodie Hofer for the 2025/26 season.
The Canadian outside hitter, born in 1999 and standing 199 cm tall, began his journey with Trinity Western University before breaking into the Canadian national team. He has since represented his country at the Paris 2024 Olympics, the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), and multiple international tournaments, earning a reputation as a dynamic and reliable scorer.
The move raises eyebrows because Hofer was only recently unveiled as a new signing for MINT Vero Volley Monza in Italy this June, after a season with Gioiella Prisma Taranto.
Whether this is the result of a swift deal between the two clubs or a dramatic change in transfer plans remains unclear.
