LATINA built their success on some excellent digs while MACERATA was very good at the net. In the fifth set, the hosts took a 7-5 lead but would be pegged back at 9 all, only to escape again on two Troy counters. A block from Gitto and a missed serve from Savani gave LATINA the victory.
