“Next season, we will be playing a lot of games in just a few months between the league and the cup, and to be honest adding a European cup with all the travelling that it involves, it would make it very complicated and exhausting. We are building a team aiming to have a good season in the Serie A1. If we had been in Europe, we would have had to build it totally differently. That’s why we decided to prepare the coming season, the second in the A1, as well as we could in the best possible conditions. Besides, I had to give an answer basically in 24 hours. This little period of time did not allow us to get organized logistically and financially for it. And I am the kind of person that If I have to do something, I want to do it properly” added president Sirci.
