ITA W: Torino rejected, can’t participate in Serie A1

Appeals made by the teams which have not been initially admitted to the championships A1 (Chieri Torino Volley Club) and A2 (Volley Soverato and Polisportiva Antares Sala Consilina) were rejected.

A statement by the Women’s Volleyball League announced: “The relevant deficiencies found by the Board of Directors on the basis of the examination, carried out by the Commission for Admission to the Championship, are not fixable.”

The same teams will have from Monday, three working days of time to appeal to the Appeal Board of the Italian Volleyball Federation – FIPAV.
