Bulgaria defeated by Italy again
The best scorers in Italy were Luca Vettori with 29 and Ivan Zaytsev with 16 points. For Bulgaria, Todor Aleksiev scored 20, while Tsvetan Sokolov had 14.
Italy’s 3-2 win afainst Bulgaria gives them first FIVB World League medal since silver on home soil in Rome in 2004.
Defeat means Bulgaria have still not made the medal podium at an FIVB World League Finals – they have now lost 5 bronze medal matches.
