The Italian volleyball star Ivan Zaytsev took the opportunity to comment on the situation in Ukraine.
He stands with the Ukrainian people:
“What our brothers in Ukraine are experiencing is terrifying and unjustified. I am saddened, this is not the Russia that I know, there are so many people who do not want this conflict in the land that gave me the last name I carry. I am with them who have the courage to protest, with all the Ukrainian people who are and those that are trying to protect everything they have: their land their home their freedom. Love knows no war,” writes Zaytsev.
