The Eurosuole Forum saw over 2700 fans as Cucine Lube Civitanova edged out Milano in a nail-biting tie-break (25-19, 27-25, 22-25, 15-25, 15-12), claiming a important win and a fourth place in the standings. Chinenyeze, named MVP, and Zaytsev led Civitanova, while Mergarejo starred for Milano.
In another highlight, league leaders Itas Trentino overcame Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza in a packed PalabancaSport. Despite Piacenza’s resilience, Trentino’s sealed a 3-1 victory, with Michieletto earning MVP honors.
Rana Verona continued their impressive form, defeating Farmitalia Catania 3-1 at Pala AGSM AIM. Verona’s Spirito, the match MVP, showcased exceptional play, guiding his team to their sixth win in seven matches.
At Cisterna Volley’s home ground, the team secured its third consecutive victory, overpowering Padova 3-1. Efe Bayram shone as MVP, playing a pivotal role in Cisterna’s march towards SuperLega survival.
Finally, Mint Vero Volley Monza triumphed 3-1 over their opponents at PalaMazzola. MVP Arthur Szwarc led the charge, contributing significantly to the win.
