The opening round of the 80th SuperLega Credem Banca season brought thrilling matches. Piacenza triumphed 3-1 in a fierce derby against Modena, while Taranto stunned Milano with a straight-set victory. Perugia dominated Verona, and Trento secured a hard-fought 3-1 win over Cisterna. In a five-set battle, Monza edged out Grottazzolina, earning a valuable win.
