Savino Del Bene Scandicci kicked off the new year with an impressive 3-1 win over Bartoccini-MC Restauri Perugia in Serie A1 Tigotà volleyball action. Despite the difference in rankings, the game at PalaBarton was packed with intensity and close moments.
The first set saw Scandicci claw back to win 30-28 after trailing early, and they carried the momentum into a dominant second set. Perugia, however, wasn’t ready to back down, taking the third set with the help of standout performances from Annet Németh and Anastasia Cekulaev. In the decisive fourth set, Scandicci’s Antropova and Bajema led the charge, securing the victory. Antropova, named MVP, delivered an outstanding 32 points, while Németh shone for Perugia with 28.
