Piacenza started strong, winning the first two sets with dominant performances from Mandiraci (21 points) and Maar (20 points). However, Trentino turned the match around with powerful serving and blocking, led by MVP Kamil Rychlicki (22 points), who made a crucial impact after entering in the second set.
Trento controlled the final three sets, sealing the victory with a decisive 15-9 fifth set.
