“We negotiated with Leon before the Final Six of Russian Championship. He is very interesting figure in volleyball. I remember him as a player on whose shoulders rested the whole Cuban team. Back then, he impressed quite a few people and I would like that he continues to grow in our team” said Alekno.
Leon has signed a preliminary contract with Zenit, but the transfer has not been done yet.
