In front of 5,000 fans at Palaverde, Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano crushed Igor Gorgonzola Novara 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-13) in Game 1 of the Serie A1 Tigotà Playoff Semifinals.
The night began with a special moment as libero Monica De Gennaro was honored for her record-breaking 631 Serie A appearances. Conegliano then took control from the first serve, with Zhu Ting (MVP) and Isabelle Haak lighting up the court. Novara, tired from their recent quarterfinal battle, couldn’t keep up.
Conegliano’s flawless play extended their unbeaten streak to 50 matches.
