After dropping the first set, Milano responded with power plays from Egonu (25 points) and MVP Cazaute (11 points) to take the next three sets and close out the match.
In front of 5,240 fans at Allianz Cloud, Milano turned the game around with solid defense, 16 team blocks, and aggressive attacks. Now, they await the winner of the other semifinal for the final on April 16.
Over in Treviso, Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano beat Igor Gorgonzola Novara 3-1 to lead their best-of-five series 2-1. After losing the first set, Conegliano came alive with MVP Gabi (19 points), Zhu (19), and Haak (21) dominating the court. Game 4 is set for April 9 in Novara.
