Superliga 2024/25: Minas and Sada Cruzeiro Just One Win from Semifinals
Itambé Minas swept Suzano 3-0 (37-35, 25-15, 25-17) in the Brazilian Superliga playoff quarterfinals, taking a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series. Paulo Vinicios Silva scored 21 points with 71% attack success and earned the VivaVôlei Trophy.
Sada Cruzeiro also won 3-0 (29-27, 25-21, 25-22) against Vedacit Guarulhos. Lucão led with 16 points, dominating at the net.
Both Minas and Cruzeiro need just one more win on April 12 to reach the semifinals of the 2024/25 Superliga.
