Rana Verona continued their strong start in the SuperLega Credem Banca, defeating Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina in straight sets (21–25, 17–25, 20–25) at the PalaSavelli.

Verona took control early and maintained their rhythm throughout the match, never allowing Grottazzolina to find consistency. With this result, Verona collects their second consecutive victory, moving to six points in the standings. Grottazzolina, meanwhile, remains at zero but will aim to rebound in the coming round.
Leading the way was Micah Christenson, who once again orchestrated the offense brilliantly and earned the MVP award. Both Darlan Souza and Rok Mozic scored 13 points each. At the middle of the net, Lorenzo Cortesia stood out with an excellent 83% attack success rate, giving Verona a key edge.
For the home team, Amir Golzadeh led the attack with 11 points. Despite flashes of good play, Grottazzolina couldn’t keep up with Verona’s pace and precision.
