The Play Off Scudetto Credem Banca quarterfinals got underway with three matches on Sunday, following Perugia’s win on Saturday, as the race for the Italian volleyball title officially began.

Cucine Lube Civitanova opened its series with an impressive 3–1 away win over Itas Trentino (25–21, 27–25, 24–26, 25–17). The match was tightly contested for three sets before Civitanova pulled away in the fourth.
Alex Nikolov led all scorers with 26 points and earned MVP honors, while Bottolo added 16, Loeppky 14, and Gargiulo 10. For Trentino, Faure scored 15 points.
Rana Verona enjoyed a comfortable night at home, sweeping Allianz Milano 3–0 (25–16, 25–15, 25–21).
Keita finished as top scorer with 18 points, while captain Mozic contributed 14 points and three aces to claim MVP, with Darlan adding 16. Milano struggled offensively, with Caneschi leading the team with seven points.
In the day’s most dramatic match, Valsa Group Modena rallied from two sets down to beat Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza 3–2 (23–25, 22–25, 25–20, 25–16, 17–15).
Porro led Modena with 20 points, followed by Buchegger (16) and Davyskiba (14). For Piacenza, Mandiraci scored 22 points, with Gutierrez adding 17.
The quarterfinals had already begun Saturday with Sir Susa Vim Perugia defeating Vero Volley Monza 3–1, led by Semeniuk with 17 points.
