Players of Piacenza
The president of Copra Ardelia Piacenza Guido Molinari held on October the 25th a press conference in which he explained situation between the club and the businessman Dario Ruggieri, the owner of Ardelia trading company who is the main sponsor of the team.
As it turns out, a new sponsor didn’t fulfill obligations toward Piacenza. Ruggieri promised that he will give money on October the 21st, and a few days later he delayed the payment for two weeks.
“I don’t understand how a man from Piacenza can do such things in his hometown. What is the future of the club? It seems that I will have to contact investors from Arab countries and Russia. But, If Ruggieri doesn’t cover all agreements, the team will have serious problems” said president Molinari.
All players of Piacenza have sent an open letter to Ruggieri, signed by all of them. They warned that club might cease to exist There were protests of the fans as well…
