In the spotlight will be Ivan Miljković who was a member of Lube for a seven season and this match will be emotional for him. He won the CEV Champions league with Lube in 2002. It will be the clash of Serbian players as well as we know that Lube’s jersey wear Marko Podraščanin and Dragan Stanković.

The CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League is one of the most important and prestigious Volleyball competitions in the world,” he acknowledges. “This year we got to play some strong teams but we also got stronger after transferring some good players. We have five to six players with a lot of experience; the others are young but very talented and this makes the difference with the other teams that were drawn in our pool. Our rookies have been playing together since the U14 age group and their synergy is exceptional and can turn into a valuable asset for the team. We will try to take points and win as many matches as possible.”

The Champions league fever is back to Spain and their champion Voleibol Teruel will host Jastrzebski Wegiel. See the complete schedule below…
