If the club does not find the new sponsor soon it would have to dismember the squad and withdraw from all the competitions in the current season.
Piacenza fans are worried. They brought a banner to Macerata on the league match against Lube on Sunday which they lost 3-0.
The banner said: „Volleyball can’t lose Piacenza“. The statement from the fans touched some of the players such as Hristo Zlatanov who wrote on Twitter: „This is the volleyball … thank you! “
