ITALIAN CUP W: Busto first reached semifinals, Piacenza knocked out by Modena

Busto Arsizio was the first team who reached the semifinals of the Italian Cup.

Valentina

They beat Pomi in the second leg in straight sets 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-23). Valentina Diouf was the best player with 25 points.

Novara has lost the match against Montichiari 3-1 but they will play in semifinals because they won the first match in straight sets.

Modena managed to knock out Piacenza after taking the Golden set. The same thing did Imoco Volley Conegliano who knocked out Foppapedretti Bergamo after winning the golden set 15-13.
