Lube has announced the transfer on the official club’s website, while Ricardinho himself stated that he is very excited about his return to Italy.
“When the call arrived I simply ran out of breath. My return to Italy will be a great challenge, and I will try to bring experience, determination and a fighting spirit. Wearing a jersey of Lube will be a great honor for me, and a cherry on top of my career. Lube is a strong team which has everything it needs to defend the title” said Ricardinho.
Ricardo Garcia is therefore returning to Italy where he played for Modena (2004-2008) and Sisley (2008-2010). He played this season in Maringa, but his team got eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Brazilian Championship.
One of the best setters of all time will arrive in Treia on Friday, March 20, and he will wear number 15. He will replace injured Michele Baranowicz.
