Players of Modena showed a true winner’s character in the derby match against Piacenza. They were down by 0-1 and 1-2 in sets, but they continued to fight and managed to score a thrilling tie-break win – 3-2! Valentina Diuof was leading Modena troops with 25 points, while Laura Heyrman helped with 19.
Piacenza had superb Floortje Meijners, who finished the match with 31 points… Still, it was not enough.
