Modena’s block
MODENA have opened match much better than the rival. From the beginning of the set, Lorenzetti’s side dominated! Home team were organizing much better actions, were serving much better, block worked perfectly and they took the lead. Ngapeth, who came back after suspension, scored the last point for 25:16.
But, in the second set, we saw very uncertain game. Polish side even had two set points, but Modena somehow managed to save them and to create first set point in the second set. But, Anastasi’s team didn’t want to give up, they saved three rival’s set points but after block of Lucas Saatkamp, Modena increased the lead to 2:0, (30:28).
In the third set, the game of Lotos Trefl Gdansk was simply under the level of their quality. They had probably the worst performance in a single set so far this season and Modena took the opportunity to smash them for 3-0!
