French star Earvin Ngapeth was once again in the middle of a situation that definitely cannot be described as part of sports. But, he was provoked and had to answer somehow…

Ngapeth’s ‘stop talking’ gesture with fingers during the match between his team DHL Modena and Cucine Lube Banca Marche Civitanova, last Saturday, made Lube’s fans angry. They thought he was pointing at them.

As some Italian media published, along with the photo that he deleted in the meantime, Ngapeth posted an explanation and wrote that he was actually pointing at Andrea Lucchetta, a journalist and ex-player of Italian NT.

“All respect for Lube’s fans, much less for Lucchetta,” Ngapeth wrote over photo posted on his Instagram profile with an exact moment of his gesture. The photo and comment no longer exist.

Apparently, Ngapeth is angry at Lucchetta because the journalist criticized Frenchman for a car accident in which he was involved last month and injured three people.

Definitely uncalled for and inappropriate. He also got a yellow card for that.
