Civitanova powerhouse have defeated Monza on the road and have therefore secured two very important things for the future. They will have a home court advantage throughout the Serie A Playoffs, while they will also certainly play in the CEV Champions League in the 2016/17 season.
“We are all very glad that we won the first place in the regular season, especially because we have achieved that goal just by ourselves, without waiting for some other scores. This evening my boys played an excellent match. They had the right intensity and the right approach, making it clear from the start that they want all 3 points. I am very pleased that we have secured the pole position in such a quality league as Serie A is,” said Lube head coach Gianlorenzo Blengini after the game against Monza.
