After one year you have returned to Trentino to help the team in the Serie A1 Playoffs. What has changed since you left last summer?
“The team is becoming younger and younger. When I came back I found myself to be the oldest player in the team for the first time. That was something new, but it is natural. The things that remained the same are the goals. They are always high in Trentino.”
How would you rate this short period that you have spent with the team?
“Well, we are losing 0-2 against Modena in the Serie A1 semifinals, so obviously it is not so successful, but we are not losing hope. We still have the 3rd match to play, so I hope that we can win that one and bring the series back to Trento. If we fail, it will be very unfortunate for us. But, as you may know, the problem with our team is that we have many injured players, so it is not very easy. Still, we are doing our best.”
Finally, many volleyball fans are wondering where you will continue your career? Do you still have a contract with JTEKT Stings?
“I do not have a contract with JTEKT Stings, but of course there is an option to renew it. I will decide soon where will I play in the next season…”
Is it possible that you will stay in Trentino?
“Everything is possible. We will see what kind of offers I receive,” concluded Kaziyski.
