Head coach of the Bulgarian national team Plamen Konstantinov has publicly accused Asseco Resovia of “deliberately putting Penchev outside the court”!
“I am not happy with the situation, because he has hardly played in this season. It seems that this is a club’s decision. They are deliberately putting Penchev outside the court, as it is a matter of his contract. He has to think about going somewhere else…” said Konstantinov for sportowefakty.wp.pl.
Bulgarian coach also added that Penchev should not change the country.
“Nikolay should stay in Poland, but he should certainly change the team. In PlusLiga there are many well-organized clubs and many very good volleyball coaches, so I think this is an ideal place for him to play volleyball.”

That’s the best joke I’ve heard today : ). Penchev is keeping outside court because he is offended at Asseco Resovia and he’s not giving his best for the team. Anyway he had many possibilities to play in ‘first six’ in Resovia.
